This training is not specifically for teachers that have been supported through the Write for Texas grant. It is open for all 6th-12th grade teachers who would like to gain a better understanding of the state writing rubric and how it correlates with the six traits of writing. This session will also help writing instructors understand how to scaffold instruction to advance struggling students toward accomplished writing.  This session is day one of a two day training. Day two will be a follow-up workshop session in October 2016.
