This Training is highly recommended for all District ASCENDER users and should be taken prior to any process specific trainings we provide.  Other ESC8 ASCENDER trainings will assume the user knows the basics that are covered in this New User Training.

Users will learn the overall functionality of ASCENDER and be given introduction to each of the various applications within the product.  Attendees will be introduced to Information Services staff and learn the specific areas of support they provide to you/your district.  We will explain functional/positional roles and security accesses at the District level.  The training will focus on navigation within ASCENDER and teach you how to get the most out of the available features.  We will give a demonstration on each of the Portals.
