This course will provide an overview of Texas OER K-5 RLA Literacy Program. Participants will become familiar with the program design for
K-2nd grade, which includes full skills lessons focused on building strong foundational reading skills, as well as full knowledge-focused lessons that build background around key topics or themes while focusing on comprehension. Participants will also learn about the program's 3rd-5th grade design that integrates skills and knowledge lessons.
