HB 984 requires schools with an RN or LVN to have at least one unlicensed diabetes care assistant and schools with no nurse to have at least three.  Workshop will help participants recognize the symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, as well as interventions including urine tests and self finger sticks.
