The "PICK SIX" options began late spring/early summer and offers you even more variety and choice in completing your annual six-hour GT Update. Each of these "Pick Six" one-hour courses counts as one hour of credit/PD toward you six-hour state mandated hours. PLEASE remember to print your certificates after completing the course. You will find your certificate ready to print in your Region 8 ESC teacher account. You can complete the short survey and then print your certificate.

This one-hour course explores the effectiveness of choice boards as a tool to differentiate instruction for gifted learners. Choice boards are great tools to use in the classroom. First of all, they can be used for any subject, are easy to create and set up, and the students love them! Not only that, research shows that providing students with choices about their learning has many benefits.
