Thank you for choosing to complete this one-hour online course.  The "PICK SIX" options began late spring/early summer and offers you even more variety and choice in completing your annual six-hour GT Update. Each of these "Pick Six" one-hour courses counts as one hour of credit/PD toward you six-hour state mandated hours.  PLEASE remember to print your certificates after completing the course. You will find your certificate ready to print in your Region 8 ESC teacher account. You can complete the short survey and then print your certificate.

This one-hour course explores how high-ability students may have different social-emotional needs from their peers. Students need to know how they can support their social-emotional learning. They also need to know how to self-regulate their emotions. Teachers can help students to do this.
