Focusing on Phenomenal K-5 Science
Share
What is "phenomenon" and how do I teach it? This session will focus on phenomenal science instruction referred to in the new "Scientific and Engineering Practices". Participants will learn how the implementation of phenomena increases equity in elementary science education in addition to sparking the essence of wonder and amazement in our students. With this shift in our instruction, from teacher-focused to student-focused, we can create an environment where students begin to wonder, think critically, and formulate questions. Let us embrace this shift to Texas science together as we embark on the beginning of something truly beautiful!
