Social Studies: Focus on Elementary K-5: Focusing on content, differentiation, instructional strategies, and resources

Participants in this workshop will have an opportunity to dive into the content of Elementary K-5 social studies as well as explore a variety of instructional strategies to make the student experience more engaging and meaningful. Focus will also center on how to easily differentiate instruction for a variety of learning styles as well as investigate online resources available to aid the delivery of instruction. We will also examine strategies for bringing social studies text and content into the ELAR lens.
