Instruction and Systems of Success for Newcomer High School Students

Teachers and administrators alike have a role to play in supporting the success of recently-arrived immigrant students (newcomers). Let’s come to the table and discuss equitable practices across all areas of the education system, including instruction, enrollment, grade placement, course scheduling, transcript evaluation, assessment, grading, and teacher collaboration & co-teaching. We will examine practical tools and troubleshoot roadblocks to success in order to walk away with tangible plans for increased support. Don't miss it!
