This session will cover an introduction to the RLA Research Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) and how they work collectively to build a solid foundation for reading instruction based on the Science of Reading.

- Knowledge Coherence: Building knowledge and vocabulary through text in all content areas.
- Text Based Responses: Reading, writing, and speaking grounded in evidence from text, both literary and informational.
