Increasing Engagement for Students with Reading and Writing Challenges

This session will explore the tenets of Universal Design for Learning to help students persevere through the challenges of reading and writing. Participants will also examine classroom management and ways to combat learned helplessness for students who resist reading or writing. Assistive technology options will be briefly addresses as ways to support students in language arts activities. Join us for a day of motivating techniques for students of all levels.
