Social Studies: Differentiating Instruction for Social Studies Classrooms 6-12






Participants will explore various differentiation strategies for the secondary classroom.  Each teacher will be able to adapt strategies to specific grade levels.  Differentiation leads to a more engaging, hands-on experience for the students.  The session will also focus on vocabulary development and how to use data-based assessments to guide teachers in lesson planning and implementation as well as opportunities for reteaching and reinforcement of "tough" TEKS.
