This session will provide a deep dive into the following components of the Texas Effective Dual Language Immersion Framework Lever 4: Lesson Planning and Methods:

• Lesson plans include clear objectives, a variety of formative assessments, and rigorous instructional strategies
• Culturally and linguistically sustaining practices
• Content-based language instruction
• Authentic biliteracy development across content areas.                       

Teachers will identify where our current practices fulfill the rubric expectations and further develop areas that benefit from enhancements. Bring your content area scope and sequence, unit plans, and lesson plans to this training to participate in collaborative planning activities.
