Managing Your Classroom: Understanding, Preventing and Responding to Challenging Behavior
For Prekindergarten and Kindergarten






Classroom management is a must and it includes everything that happens before, during and after the school day. Consistent routines, procedures and expectations help facilitate student success and will directly impact student behavior. These "Managing Your Classroom" workshops will support participants' understanding of student behaviors and provide strategies for managing your classroom while guiding students toward making positive choices in your classroom and in their lives.

Important Session Information:


In this session, participants will explore numerous practical, indispensable tips for responding to the needs of children, for building relationships with children and their families, and for preventing challenging behaviors. Teachers with be provided with information that enables them to understand why children behave the way they do and will be presented with evidence-based strategies to address challenging behavior.
