Since the inclusion of quadratics and exponentials in the Algebra 1 TEKS, the question, "Why are we doing this?" is asked often by Algebra 1 Teachers.  Come join us as we take a look at creative ways to both introduce and teach these functions, as well as opportunities to teach in such a way that the knowledge can be extended to other content areas without pain.
