Spotlight on Science: Grades 3-5 Ecosystems & Energy Flow






Join us for this SOS session that will spotlight teaching "Ecosystems and Energy Flow" in grades 3-5 science!  This session will focus on the various types of ecosystems along with all of the nonliving factors and living organisms that depend upon a balanced flow of energy. These concepts and processes taught in elementary science help to prepare students for STAAR Reporting Category 4:  Organisms and Environments in fifth grade.   Participants will focus on background information, notebooking ideas, scientific labs, and engaging activities to help our students understand the importance of food chains & webs in different ecosystems and the environments & communities that must be convserved.  Join us for this hands-on session!
