Author's Purpose and Craft: Understanding the Why and How
Grades 3-5
Share
Spend time with us while we examine how authors compose texts to deliver a variety of messages for a variety of purposes. We will see the importance of students interpreting the techniques that authors use in their craft to deliver their message and how that message is received and impacts the reader. This will lead us to lay the foundations that help students to examine the unique styles and particular nuances left by authors and begin to craft their own writing. Join us for a day of the “why” and the “how”. We will be using TEKS Resource System and Implementing TEKS Resource System.
