Social Studies: Discovering Resources and Instructional Strategies for Integrating Historical/Non-Fiction Text into the K-5 Social Studies Classroom






Participants in this workshop will explore a variety of historical non-fiction texts and develop strategies for integrating them into their social studies classroom.  Strategies will include methods for modifying text to specific grade levels as well as hands-on activities to aid in reading comprehension and expression.
