This workshop will feature a deep-dive into the TEKS Resource System for social studies.  Participants will learn how TEKS Resource System can be used effectively to help plan lessons, to enrich and differentiate lessons, and to chunk content for unit and lesson development. Additionally, participants will discover tools to help them with pacing throughout the year, will explore performance assessment opportunities, and will dive into the specificity aligned with the TEKS in providing meaningful content for student learning.

Part of the day will be spent exploring social studies resources, Implementing TEKS Resource System, and many other resources available for social studies teachers.
