This training will give educators the information and tools needed to write appropriate measurable postsecondary goals as part of a student’s transition plan. Learning to write appropriate measurable postsecondary goals is the foundation for building quality transition services for students with disabilities. This training will be a watch party at the ESC of the virtual training available through TEA learn. ESC staff will lead the session and provide clarification on difficult cases. As an adjunct to the watch party, transition annual goals will be explored and how to develop protocols to effectively monitor these.
