Informing Instruction in Mathematics Through Formative Assessment






This session will provide strategies and tools to foster research-based, pre-planned, formative assessment teaching practices in the classroom and interpretation of that information to inform instruction. 

Examples will be provided from 3rd grade through Algebra 2.

Participants will receive the book Mathematics Formative Assessment, Vol 2: 50 More Practical Strategies for Linking Assessment, Instruction, and Learning by Page Keeley and Cheryl Rose.
