P.A.P.A. TRAINING






The P.A.P.A. curriculum is appropriate for use as a prevention & preparation tool for non-parenting teens and/or teens with children.  Training will be provided by a representative from the Attorney General of Texas.  Under HB 2176, School must use P.A.P.A. curriculum for high school health credit.

VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETING 

Parenting and Paternity Awareness Virtual training is 4 hours CEUs for educators.

Purpose of training for educators is to encourage students to consider life sequencing choices by understanding the rights, realities, and responsibilities of parenting.

As a reminder the P.A.P.A training provides health teachers, FCS teachers (CTE), health science teachers (CTE), school counselors, school nurses and teen parent program staff an overview of the P.A.P.A. curriculum, explains the critical legal issues addressed in the curriculum, and prepares them to effectively use the curriculum.
