Taking the Road Less Traveled: The Benefits of Lesson Objectives in Secondary Math

School administrators have long asked teachers to provide lesson objectives in student friendly language, but to many the reasoning behind the request is not clear.  During this session we will look at the purpose of lesson objectives and how they improve student performance and make us better teachers.  Examples for this session will be based in grade 6 math through Calculus.

The information in this workshop is aligned to Essential Action 5.1 in Effective Schools Framework.
