Effective Strategies and Resources for the Social Studies Texas History Classroom






The focus of the workshop will be strategies for more effective teaching of Texas History, focusing on 4th and 7th grade levels.  Teachers will have an opportunity to work collaboratively to design engaging lessons and will be provided resources for implementation.  Work will focus on differentiation, engagement, higher Bloom's processing TEKS, and innovation with technology as well as strategies for supporting 8th grade U.S. History, which is a tested grade level.
