Virtual PD Effective Strategies and Resources for the Social Studies Geography Classroom






While this workshop specifically targets sixth and night grade geography, it is open to all grade levels as well.  Participants will work to develop effective face-to-face and virtual learning opportunities for students.  Activities will focus on the processing TEKS within the geography curriculum as well as focus on specific units of study.  There will also be opportunities to explore modern-day social media posts that can be turned into fun, engaging technology-based learning opportunities for students.
