Do you have sixth through twelfth grade students in your English language arts and reading classrooms who struggle to read? In this session, participants will learn strategies and activities from Kylene Beers' book When Kids Can’t Read that teachers can do to reach even the most reluctant reader. Ideas will be shared to help adolescents who need extra support in comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary.
