The Home on the Range workshop is for elementary science teachers.  It will provide hands-on, active learning experiences for teachers to take back to the classroom and share with their students. Each participant will receive the complete Rangelands Guide on a flash drive, which contains 27 student-centered lessons using hands-on, real world science investigations. Each lesson includes 3-8 activities.  These lessons use a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all students, activate higher order thinking, and synthesis in creative products and presentations.

Teachers should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, and bring sunscreen and insect repellent.
