Workshop participants will learn effective strategies for addressing the TEKS in moving students from meets to masters and helping those who have mastered to stay in mastered.  Focus will be on:

1.  Differentiation and engagement

2.  Effective assessment strategies

3.  Reteaching and spiraling the curriculum

4.  Vocabulary strategies

5.  Use of primary and secondary sources for Thinking More Like An Historian

6.  Project Based Learning 

7.  Year-long development of processing skills
