Equity Plan Overview






Starting with the 2019-2020 school year, TEA will identify districts that have equity gaps in access to effective teaching by using the “meets or exceeds growth target” percentages for same student groups identified in the Texas Equity Toolkit (students of color and economically disadvantaged students).  This session will present an overview of the Equity Plan process including the steps in the process: conducting a root cause analysis, selecting strategies, planning for implementation, and monitoring implementation using a revised template.
