Texas Writing Pilot Blind Scoring Training






TEA needs Region 8 teachers  to participate in blind-scoring student papers from the 2017-2018 Texas Writing Pilot. This training will prepare teachers to provide blind scoring for writing samples submitted by students participating in the pilot. Only those from districts NOT participating in the writing pilot may serve as blind scorers. Those trained may receive 35 professional development hours for samples scored. Blind scoring will begin May 7th and must be completed by May 25. Please contact Callie Fortenberry (903)575-2742 with questions.
