Go beyond standard assessment tools! Explore how the NEPSY-II and PEP-3 can uncover meaningful patterns in a student’s development and strengthen evaluation, programming, and intervention decisions.
An Overview of the NEPSY-II: This session provides an in-depth overview of the NEPSY (A Developmental NEuroPSYchological Assessment), a comprehensive tool designed to assess neuropsychological development in children ages 3 to 16. Participants will gain an understanding of the structure, administration, scoring, and interpretation of the NEPSY, along with its applications in diagnosing and developing interventions for various neurodevelopmental disorders.
PEP-III: The Psychoeducational Profile, Third Edition (PEP-3) is a comprehensive assessment designed to evaluate the developmental strengths and needs of children with autism and other developmental differences. This session provides participants with a practical overview of the administration, scoring, and interpretation of the PEP-3. Participants will explore the structure and components of the assessment, review administration procedures and scoring considerations, and examine how information gathered through the PEP-3 can contribute to a broader understanding of a student's developmental profile. Emphasis will be placed on appropriate administration practices, behavioral observations during assessment, and using results alongside multiple sources of data to inform educational evaluation, programming, and intervention planning.
