The Extended Constructed Response (ECR) on STAAR doesn't have to be intimidating—for teachers or students. In this interactive session, participants will learn how to write effective ECR prompts, confidently navigate the STAAR rubric, and design engaging lessons that strengthen students' STAAR ECR writing. Through hands-on practice, collaborative activities, and practical planning tools, educators will leave with ready-to-use lessons, instructional resources, and engaging strategies they can effectively implement to help students become stronger, more confident writers.
