Day 2: Layer-By-Layer TIER 1 & 2 Management






This 3-day professional development series explores the Pyramid Model framework for supporting young children’s social-emotional development, behavior, and learning. Participants will examine practical strategies for building nurturing relationships, creating supportive classroom environments, teaching social-emotional skills, and addressing challenging behaviors through developmentally appropriate practices. Through interactive learning and real-world application, educators will strengthen their ability to foster positive outcomes for all young children.

Important Session Information:


This session explores targeted social-emotional teaching practices within the Pyramid Model framework. Participants will learn strategies for intentionally teaching emotional literacy, friendship skills, self-regulation, and problem-solving through embedded instruction, modeling, and meaningful interactions. Educators will leave with practical tools to strengthen children’s social-emotional competence and support positive peer relationships in everyday classroom routines.
