Day Four: Strategy-Making Sense of the World through Fine Arts and Technology






Step onto the field with this engaging 5-day series that brings the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines to life. Using a playbook approach, educators will explore how to integrate all 10 domains through play, routines, and intentional instruction. Participants will leave with practical strategies and a clear game plan to support whole-child growth and create aligned, high-impact PK classrooms.

Discover how fine arts and technology enhance learning by giving children meaningful ways to express ideas and extend understanding. In this session, educators will explore how music, movement, art, dramatic play, and purposeful technology use can amplify engagement across all domains. Participants will leave with practical strategies to integrate creativity and digital tools in ways that support—not replace—hands-on, play-based learning.
