Transition Meeting

Welcome all Transition Employment Designees (TEDs), Transition Specialists, and all that need Transition information! Discover how student-led ARD meetings can empower youth with disabilities to actively participate in shaping their educational and transition goals. In this session, we’ll explore practical strategies to prepare students to take the lead in their ARD meetings, boosting self-determination and advocacy skills. After lunch, you'll also gain access to a curated collection of summer camps, enrichment programs, and community resources designed to support postsecondary readiness, social-emotional growth, and independence for students with disabilities. We will have guest speakers present in the afternoon session as well! Whether you're new to transition planning or looking to expand your resource toolkit, this session offers actionable ideas and inspiring success stories to take back to your campus.

Important Session Information:

Join us for a comprehensive workshop on "Special Education Transition Requirements for Students with Disabilities."
