The Texas Legislature and the state of Texas provide a robust set of funding sources for school systems. Many of these sources of funding are within the school system’s control, and many are aligned to components of a strong academic strategic plan. The suite of resources provided are designed to inform and guide school system leaders, including superintendents, chief financial officers, district cabinet members and school board members, to support local decision making to maximize available state funds to promote increased student outcomes.
