Pacing the Process: Feedback that Drives Growth
Share
Effective feedback is not about volume—it’s about timing, clarity, and purpose. In this interactive session, secondary RLA teachers will explore how to deliver timely, actionable feedback that strengthens student writing for STAAR constructed responses. Participants will practice conferencing routines, apply revision and editing protocols, and explore a variety of feedback methods, including peer feedback. Using real student responses and ready-to-use templates, teachers will refine how they guide students from draft to revision with intention. Walk away with practical tools and strategies that keep writers moving forward and on pace for success.
