Active Threat Response Training for School Guardians, School Marshals and SBLE

The purpose of this Active Response Training is to equip School Guardians, School Marshals, and SBLE with the knowledge, mindset, and practical skills needed to effectively respond to an active threat within a school environment. This training will focus on proven concepts and principles of rapid response, threat recognition, and decision-making under stress to help protect students, staff, and fellow responders.

Participants will be guided through step-by-step actions for School Guardians & Marshals during and after a threat, including immediate response priorities, communication, coordination, and critical actions once the threat has been neutralized. Emphasis will also be placed on safely transitioning control when law enforcement arrives on scene, ensuring clear identification, accountability, and unified command.

This training is designed to build confidence, improve coordination, and ensure all personnel understand their role in a high-risk, time-sensitive situation where seconds matter and actions save lives.
