Cognitive Battery Selection: Choose the RIGHT battery for the RIGHT student for the RIGHT data!
In-Person Professional Development

This session is for Educational Diagnosticians and School Psychologist who administer cognitive assessments.

Make intentional, data-driven decisions when selecting cognitive assessment batteries. This session guides participants in aligning referral concerns, student characteristics, and existing data to choose the most appropriate tools. Emphasis is placed on avoiding over-testing, understanding strengths and limitations of commonly used batteries, and ensuring results yield meaningful, defensible data for eligibility and educational planning.

Important Session Information:

This is a full-day, in-person professional development. In the morning, we will learn all about cognitive batteries and the data they yield. In the afternoon, we will have case studies, practice administering lesser-given subtests, and triangulate data reports.
