Texas Dyslexia Academy Module 2:  State Dyslexia Handbook is the second of six training opportunities developed to assist school districts and charter schools regarding dyslexia and related disorders. In this course, participants will explore the updated State Dyslexia Handbook and learn about relevant changes, including: 1) Definition of dyslexia, 2) its characteristics, and common risk factors, 3) Understanding universal screening and data review for reading risk, 4) instructional practices for dyslexia 5) characteristics for dysgraphia
