Adapting Dyslexia Take Flight for Specially Designed Instruction Training






In this session, providers of dyslexia instruction will learn how to adapt content, methodology, and delivery of instruction of Take Flight: An Evidence Based Dyslexia Program of Instruction. Interventionists will learn how to adapt this program to the unique needs of students identified through IDEA as having the specific learning disability of dyslexia.  Session will cover dyslexia defined, dyslexia identification patterns to look for.., what the State Handbook requires in a dyslexia assessment, resources for families, how to make your Take Flight more prescriptive based on IEP, top 10 things administrators can do to help with dyslexia programming.  Supplemental forms and information from Scottish Rite Hospital for the provider of dyslexia instruction and evaluators.  

Participants must have completed TuboStart, Jet, or Take Flight prior to attending this training.
