This session will feature up-to-date information from TEA regarding gifted and talented services.  Participants will also delve into the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted and Talented Students as well as learn best practices in effective instructional services for gifted students.  This session will fulfill the state mandated six-hour annual update for administrators and counselors who are involved in the education of gifted and talented students in their districts.
