G/T Annual Six-Hour Update 2025-26: G/T Basics 101






This workshop fulfills the state mandated annual six-hour update for all educators who are part of a district's GT services.  The workshop will focus on the basics of GT and how students are served.  Topic examples include exploring the domains of giftedness, a look at the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted Learners, a brief look at how GT students are assessed and identified, a look at what differentiation is and is not, and strategies to accommodate instruction to meet their needs.  This workshop is great for those new to the GT world as well as a refresher course.
