Behavior Academies -Targeted Interventions that Work by Hannigan and Hannigan is a practical guide to implementing behavior academies in your school system.  Behavior Academies are a TIER 2 group intervention supporting students needing instruction in life skills (i.e. anger management) and guidance in developing replacement behaviors (i.e. hands to self).  This session will complement the book by reviewing key concepts and allowing time for school-based customization of the strategy.  Leave this session with the tools in hand that allow your school to implement this TIER 2 strategy on day one of the school year.
