Implementation and Review of a Comprehensive School Counseling Program
For Administrators and School Counselors






Aligning a school counseling program to the Texas Model is a multi-year project.  This session will provide a quick overview of the statute that mandates the use of the Texas Model to ensure appropriate school counseling duties and optimal supports for students. Administrators and School counselors will have an opportunity to review and evaluate their current programs using the Texas Model Alignment Checklist.

Writing and implementing a Comprehensive School Counseling program is designed to be a multi year project.  Do you need to review your plan? Are you new to your district or campus and want to continue the school counseling program work to be in compliance with the law? This session will provide a quick overview of the Texas Model and an opportunity to review and evaluate your program using the Texas Model Alignment Checklist.  Participants are encouraged to bring a copy of your CSCP plans for review.
