FBAs & BIPs
Share
This workshop is designed to teach participants the key components of a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA). Participants will utilize FBAs to hypothesize about possible triggers and functions of problem behaviors while identifying more appropriate behaviors. The FBA will then be used to develop a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). The purpose of the BIP is to create a plan to teach specific replacement behaviors that are more appropriate and still address the function of the misbehavior. The BIP becomes a part of the students IEP and addresses the behavioral needs of the student.
