Growing Early Biliteracy in PK-2 Classrooms






Through discussion, collaboration, and real-world examples, educators will discover how to intentionally plan instruction that honors students’ home language, promotes cross-linguistic connections, and builds essential literacy skills across two languages.

Important Session Information:


This interactive workshop is designed for PK–2 educators who are laying the foundation for strong biliteracy development in young learners. Participants will explore key research on early biliteracy and engage in hands-on activities that translate theory into practical classroom strategies for supporting reading, writing, and oral language development in both English and Spanish.
