Join us for an interactive session designed to deepen students' language proficiency through two powerful instructional strategies. Participants will engage in a hands-on implementation of The Dictado writing strategy, which emphasizes grammar, syntax, sentence structure, punctuation, and overall language accuracy. Discover how this structured practice can sharpen students’ writing skills while reinforcing key language concepts.
In the second half of the session, explore the "Así se dice" bridging strategy, which promotes conceptual understanding across languages. Through practical activities, participants will learn how to guide students in clarifying meanings, making linguistic connections, and developing metalinguistic awareness. This strategy enhances students’ ability to think about language and fosters more accurate and confident communication in both English and Spanish.
