This session is designed to equip school-based speech-language pathologists (SLPs) with the
knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complex ethical dilemmas encountered in educational settings.
Participants will delve into common ethical issues, including service delivery models, caseload management,
confidentiality, assessment practices, and collaboration with educational teams. This workshop will also provide
updates on state licensure rules and present case study analyses that allow participants to practice making
decisions based on the code of ethics.
