This 2 day training will prepare teachers seeking to take the TExES ESL Supplemental (154) exam. Participants will learn about English language acquisition, ESL instruction, foundations of ESL education, cultural awareness, and family & community involvement. Practice questions for the TExES exam will also be reviewed and discussed.

Equip yourself with practical strategies to better serve your emergent bilingual (EB) students and confidently prepare for the TExES ESL Supplemental (#154) exam in this comprehensive 2-day workshop. You'll explore English language acquisition, effective ESL instruction, the foundations of ESL education, cultural awareness, and family & community involvement. Engage in discussions and review practice questions to ensure you're ready for the exam.

Both days start at 8:30 a.m., and lunch will be provided on day 1 only.
